New X1 box show green screen

My new X1 cable box just shows a green screen.  I tried using a different HDMI cable but it didn’t help.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us through Xfinity Forums @user_b57491. I am sorry to hear you have had trouble with the cable box. You had the right idea, normally the cause of a green screen is the HDMI cable. That being said, have you tried any additional troubles shooting steps, including rebooting the box? Do you have a splitter attached to the cable line for your modem? Is this a new cable box, or did it just start doing this recently?

@XfinityAnna​ I rebooted the TV, the cable box and the Xfinity main router.  None of these helped.  I do not have a splitter attached to the cable line.  This is a new cable box.

I appreciate that you have tried to troubleshoot prior to reaching out. Have you also tried another port on the TV? 

I no longer work for Comcast.
