New cable X1 box will not connect

I keep getting “SORRY, there seems to be some trouble.  Please tighten your cable connections, and then restart your tv box. This can often fix common issues”.

you are describing a dead outlet (no connection to the xfinity service). connect it to the coax for your internet service and see if it boots there.

@user_3dfab2 Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. I can understand how this can be frustrating. Have you tried to connect the new box to a different outlet?
