New cable box?

When I upgraded service back in December, I think they were supposed to send me a new cable box.  It occurs to me that the issues I have where the cloud based DVR is losing shows and then recovering them at random, might be an issue with my older cable box.  So I am wanting to know if I was supposed to be getting a new box or not, should have probably asked this back in January.
