New 4K box and Bose solo

I'm tearing my hair out to figure why my Bose Solo lost its connection to my new 4K x1 box and I can't get it paired again. Yes, I have rebooted the box and have followed on screen directions just like when I brought the box home and successfully paired the Bose. TV is Samsung 4kUHD/HDR. (I will deal with the 4K issues in another post) Any suggestions? I'm tempted to downgrade to the previous box. At least I will get my clock back 😕

Hello schnappsy. I can assist with troubleshooting your 4K box issue. Can you try to unplug both your X1 box and your Bose device from power, wait 30 seconds, and then plug them both in and try again?

Did that more than once. That is always the first action I take when there is a problem. We did get a new remote from the Xfinity store. We were able to pair with the Bose and it worked fine. 2 days later the Bose will not turn on and/or off with the remote power button. The last time I tried to do a repairing, I lost all access to the Bose unless I use the Bose remote. We didn't have this issue before we upgraded our boxes (4K). That's another issue with the 4K box. When I tune to a 4K show, the screen resolution doesn't change to 4K. We also have a caller ID issue that ComcastMorgan contacted me about. Nothing but issues with this upgrade. Considering turning it all back in for the old DVR box.
