My X1 box is too noisy

I just received a new X1 box after renewing my 2 year contract.

The new box is huge and very loud.

The fan spins even after being turned off, which doesn't make any sense.

Can I get a new model or any other model with doesn't have the fan noise?

I'll be happy to use the old box (I didn't return yet) which doesn't have DVR, for I don't use DVR at all.
