My TV turns on randomly
Just got a X1 cable box and my tV has been turning on randomly. Called cable they said Tv but have mr knew box. There is no timers set on TV. This never happened on my old cable box

Hello, @mcell60, the first thing I would double check is your remotes. Either the X1 remote or your TV's remote. If it needs to be cleaned or if it's around other objects this is typically the culprit. Buttons can get stuck or another object hits the remote turning the TV on.
