@user_348020 Hi there, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Community Forum and making us aware of your concerns. I understand you are still having issues with your remote even after changing the batteries, and it would be my pleasure to help. First off, I am sure you did this but make sure they are brand-new batteries. Sometimes we find batteries in the drawer or somewhere else that are also dead, so not much help. Second, did you try resetting the cable box since changing the batteries? The message could be stuck or frozen, and may need to be refreshed to go away. Let me know if that works, or if you already tried that. I am eager to help you find a solution.
same thing is happening to us. replaced with new batteries, message then said 100%, but 2 days later we got the message to change batteries again. what's up with this error message ?? how to make it go away ??
@user_1022ea Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. I can see how this would be frustrating. Have you done a reset on the box to see if that would clear the message?
is there more than one remote paired? That happened to me one time and found it wasn't my normal remote but a secondary remote then in a drawer. removed batteries from the old remote and the problem went away.
This is happening to me too. All batteries, even new out of package result in immediate low battery message bar in top of screen. Level stays stuck at 28%. Have reset, system refresh, and unplug for at least 30 min and plug back in. No fix yet.
