Lost audio

For no reason at all, our secondary x1 box has lost audio.  Have googled and gone thru every setting plus repaired the remote.  Have done a restart as well as a system refresh.  Nothing has fixed it.  We do have tv audio as we have a rabbit ear as back up when comcast goes down.  Plays audio just fine thru the tv.  Any suggestions here?

how is the set top box connected to the TV? is there a sound bar/receiver? when connected directly to the TV (not on the ARC port) can you turn on the TV speakers and hear audio?

Box connected straight to tv No receiver or sound bar. Tv has audio. We already tested it by itself without comcast hook up. Seems to be a comcast issue or setting

UPDATE   It's fixed.  We unplugged the coaxial as well as hdmi cables on the box itself and plugged back in.  Fixed it.  Obviously wasn't making a good connection after all these years.
