Live TV rewind capability

Question

I recently upgraded my modem and tv boxes and can no longer use the live TV buffer after exiting a dvr recording. I was always able to exit a dvr recording and rewind on the channel that was on during the dcr recording. Is there anyway for me to get that capability back? It was extremely useful.

user_6wscbz Thanks for taking a moment to leave a post. With the newer TV box models, they are programmed to help reduce storage and internal media writing. I can understand how useful it is to be able to rewind a channel, though the buffer would rest to clear room after a certain timeframe of inactivity (such as viewing content on an app, OnDemand, or others).
