Just got X1 and it keeps turning our TV on all night long! How do we stop this!

Just switched from DirecTV to Xfinity and every hour or so our TV turns itself on automatically. We never had this problem with the DirecTV box and if I disconnect the XFinity box at night the TV also stays off. This indicates to me the box is somehow sending a signal to turn on the TV. How do I stop it? Can't find anything in settings about this.
