Issue Streaming BTN in FOX Sports App

Hello. I am attempting to stream BTN through the FOX Sports app on a firestick, which I have done on numerous occasions. I do have Xfinity with BTN as a channel. However, when I attempt to stream BTN on the app, a message pops up saying "This content is not included in your TV package. Please make a new selection." How do I rectify this so I can stream BTN through the app?

Hello.  I have the same issue.  Cannot stream Big Ten on my phone via the Fox Sports app.  Can see all other broadcasts.  Xfinity seems to ignore the issue.  Can stream on my tablet and computer.

Apparently they are too busy to provide a solution.  It is on Xfinity side.  May consider dropping our entire home cable and security package for a more competitive company.  Very difficult to actually talk to someone who can really answer a question.

Thank you for reaching out to us here so we can help you access content on your BTN app, @user_2b0b97! We want you to be happy with your Xfinity service for years to come so let's figure out what's going on. BTN is listed here as an app you can use your Xfinity credentials to log into. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? What other troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please note the problem with the FOX Sports app, not BTN+. Regular BTN content streams on the FOX Sports app. I did uninstall and reinstall the app on one of our firesticks (we have 5 in use). This did not work. I also have tried logging out and logging back in, as well clearing data and cache. Nothing had worked. Please advise. I reached out to FOX digital services and was told the issue is on Comcast’s side.

Hello @user_587a21. We would be happy to help with the BTN app issue. May I ask what troubleshooting steps you have already done to correct the issue?

@XfinityCam to this point I have uninstalled and reinstalled the all on one of our 5 firesticks. I also logged out and logged back in, as well as clearing data and cache. Nothing has been successful. Please advise.

@user_587a21. I appreciate all that troubleshooting and contacting Fox to see if it was something on their end. We are a bit limited when troubleshooting 3rd party app issues, but I would be happy to see what I can do. I will need access to your account for further troubleshooting.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

Is there any solution to this issue?  I also have BTN and can watch on my TV.  However, when using the Fox Sports app on Roku and after logging in to my Xfinity account the error message reads "Your comcast_sso package does not contain BTN".

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue. To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon

I no longer work for Comcast.
