Is there a way to extend the RF signal from the XR-15 remote beyond 50 feet

I'm having trouble to control the cable box due to the distance between the TV and cable box (different levels and walls in between).  I'm looking for a solution to extend or repeat the RF signal from the XR-15 remote.  Any recommendations or suggestions?  Also what's the XR-15/X1's RF frequency?!  Will the one below solve my issue?

@jeffp1746 Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out! You should be able to use an extender according to this article, but I am not sure what frequency the XR 15 remote uses. I hope you are able to get this set up and working! One other option you would have is to use the Xfinity Remote Control app, that should allow you to change the channel from wherever you are. You can download the app here

The article you refer to is for IR extension, not RF.  Do you know who I can talk to at Xfinity to find out the RF frequency of the XR15?!

Thanks for pointing out the option with the app!  I'd still prefer a way to extend the RF if possible.

@jeffp1746 Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part the remote has IR and RF capabilities, but to control the cable box it does use RF. Once it is paired to the box, it will only send RF for the cable box. We do not have that information regarding what RF frequency is used but you can still definitely use the Xfinity Remote App to control the box if the remote is not working due to distance.

I no longer work for Comcast.

The article you linked concerns IR Extenders and IR Receivers. It doesn't address the OP's question about an RF extender at all.

Thanks for pointing that out!  What I'd like to know is if any RF extender available on the market.
