Image too big error code

Turned our Xfinity box on yesterday, which is a Pace XG1V3B – DRI, and have gone through hours upon hours of trying to get software to load

running version 1.144.4.7….error always states that “image is too big” and no matter how many times we go through the dance with the AI bot Who pings the box or ourselves with the dance of tightening the connections drop power soft and hard reboots etc. we now have no option except get on a technician appointment list. Do not understand why we cannot just go to Comcast and swap out this box. What am I missing?
What would a technician solve?

My other two boxes are just fine as well as my Gateways. It is just this one box that cannot perform it’s software update.

@christiegroup

Great question, when you reach out to us or use our xfinity app to remotely trouble shoot your services if those issues are not resolved remotely we send a tech out as the tech will make sure all lines and connection & signals coming into the home are good and check the box as well and if the box is defective  the tech will replace the box and return the old box to  our warehouse to be inventoried with the damage & defective xfinity equipment.

Now if you don’t want to wait for a tech to come you can get the awesome xfinity app and cancel the tech appointment and go right to the local xfinity store and do a swap and trade.
