I am not able to record certain channels that are a part of my subscription.
Some channels that are a part of my subscription and I was able to record as recently as 4 days ago are now not allowing me to record or set a recording. I can watch the channels on my TV live but not on the streaming app unless I go to my "favorite channels list" where I can watch live but not record. Not sure what's going on.

Many shows that we used to be able to record are now part of different streams like Paramount, Disney, Discovery, Etc. They can "block" the recording so that you have to add the subscription to the Xfinity service. Sucks

I'm having the same issue. I can't record like the Hallmark channel as they are doing Christmas movies in July. It seems the HD channels say require a subscription. I pay thru the roof for cable and shouldn't have to require a subscription to do this.
