I am not able to record certain channels that are a part of my subscription.

Some channels that are a part of my subscription and I was able to record as recently as 4 days ago are now not allowing me to record or set a recording. I can watch the channels on my TV live but not on the streaming app unless I go to my "favorite channels list" where I can watch live but not record. Not sure what's going on.

Many shows that we used to be able to record are now part of different streams like Paramount, Disney, Discovery, Etc.  They can "block" the recording so that you have to add the subscription to the Xfinity service.  Sucks

I'm having the same issue. I can't record like the Hallmark channel as they are doing Christmas movies in July.  It seems the HD channels say require a subscription.  I pay thru the roof for cable and shouldn't have to require a subscription to do this.

same. I recorded hallmark just last week but now I can’t. :( I am not paying for another service. If I have to subscribe to more services, I will be cancelling xfinity. It’s so ridiculously expensive already.

@XfinityMarc​ Hi,

I thought the problem was resolved but I can only set recordings for the Hallmark channels directly from the TV. I've always been able to set a recording from my phone app but now not for Hallmark. I can still set recordings for all my other channels from the app. Looks like some issues still needs attention.

Do you get a any error codes or error messages when trying to  set the recordings?

@XfinityMarc​ I am having a

problem setting up recordings for ch 999, CBC. I can record on 99, but it does not record in hd and looks awful!
