how to make xr15 remote control my roku tv?
I have a TCL roku tv and I can pair the remote to turn my tv on and off and adjust volume but that’s all it does. It does not navigate the menu so I basically can’t use my tv, as I don’t use cable, just roku. I was succesfully able to use my old Cox remote to control the roku tv, but I can’t figure it out with the xfinity remote. What codes do I need? (I lost the original roku tv remote ages ago which is why I had to pair the Cox remote to it)

I have the TCL 55S525 and XR15 remote wouldn't get recognized by TV at all using Comcast's automatic remote pairing in Settings menu. Tried numerous times and it just wouldn't work. Then I read on Comcast's site the instructions to pair the XR15 with TV manually. Hold down Xfinity buttton and mute button on XR15 at the same time until light turns green. Input code 11756. Light will blink green two times and now I finally got XR15 remote to be able to control volume and turn TV off and on. Very good.

I could not use my power on/off or my vol control until I held my xfinity button and mute button at same time until red light on remote turned green then the big thing was keying the number 11756. trid several numbers one of the xfinity procedures gave me 5 numbersto try none worked then somebody wrote on this log try 11756 now I can use the remote for power and volume. Need to work on getting voice control back and trying to make english my default language as nfl games and some other programs are broadcast in spanish trying to chanfe them to english.

It will not control the soundbar and the TV. Programming one knocks off the programming for the other. Any suggestions regarding using the 'setup button' are invalid because there is no setup button. And it is worthless for controlling a TCL Roku TV anyway, because the left and right arrows are inactive, so you cannot navigate past the initial scree,
