How to disassemble an XR11 remote?
I think the XR11 remote is one of the better remotes Xfinity issued with the X1 system, and prefer it to the newer XR15s. The non-slip rubbery coating is starting to peel off our primary TV's XR11 remote and thought I would swap it out for an extra unused remote we had in a drawer. Unfortunately, the batteries had leaked badly in the old one and had gotten beyond the battery compartment and into the actual remote itself. I wanted to split the case and clean ot the inside without damaging it but there were no videos on Youtube on splitting one apart, oddly. Does anyone have any advice on opening up the case on an XR11, beyond simply throwing the remote away and using an XR15?
Thank you.
