How to advance by Day/Date in the guide

On the older non X1 DVR one could hit 'guide' to show the times horizontally across and the times vertically. Hitting Page Down/Up scrolled thru the times of day. If you hit guide a second time i believe it would show you upcoming shows on a channel in a different format. Also while in the basic guide, I had on my URC Universal remote a Day +/Day - which was also on the old style Silver 9.5" long Comcast or Xfinity remotes. Some of them were either gray or bronze gray. How can you page thru days in the guide quickly on an X1 box? It's a lot more inconvenient when you know you want to record a show that's on 4-5 days later in the week and you have to scroll right in the guide. It takes forever! This is a simple feature that was on the non X1 boxes. I could never seem to find Day +/- on the Black Xr2 remote that came with my Motorola 3400 DVR but I just used the old silver remote or my URC remote. When I asked what idiot at Comcast designed this XR2 remote with missing buttons (including replay and live) they 'simplified' the new remotes. Removing needed buttons from the remote is not simplified, it's stupid. Should one have to factor in the price of a programmable remote when considering Comcast for the TV over satellite?
