how to adjust the clock on a XG1-A cable box

The clock is about a minute too fast, so we lose the last minute of recordings.

The clock is set from a Comcast server. It is not used to start/end recordings. That is controlled by the servers, too. There is a setting that tells the DVR automatically add a bit to all recordings.

@Andyross But why isn't Comcast time synced with the networks?  Comcast time doesn't match with clock on my Apple desktop that is set in Cupertino.

And, yes, I know I can set the recording times to pick up he extra minute, but it's a pain

OK- time to admit this is really is a first-world problem.

Hello, @MichaelRH

@Andyross is correct about the clock being managed by our servers. You can use this article https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-modify-the-recording-time-of-a-program to adjust the recording time so it will catch the last minutes of your recording.
