how do you keep your dvr recordings for over a year
Found out after 2 weeks of calls with various technicians that work for Xfinity that your DVR recordings can only be stored for a year. Did not see that memo! Is there any way to extend a recording for longer than a year?

Thanks for reaching out to us @user_eofen2 As a customer I like to make sure I clear up my DVR storage so my recording stay as long as possible. off load them either to a PC, or burn them onto disc. the DVR is not a forever storage device
