How do I stop my XR15 remote from controling two wifi cable boxes at the same time?

I've tried resetting the remotes multiple times. One remote controls the correct box but the 2rndremote controls both boxes. For example when I turn on the master bedroom TV, the den room turns on too.

If you have tried unpairing, and pairing the remote back to the correct cable box, the only other option is to replace the defective remote. A new one can be picked up in-store at no cost or waiting in line (ask the front counter), or we can ship one to the home. There is a one-time shipping cost of $5.95 that will be applied to the next bill, and you will receive it in 3-5 days.

@XfinityHeather Thanks, I tried un-pairing and pairing multiple times. Nothing worked. Then several days later the problem just disappeared.

I've this configuration for years so I'm at a loss as to why for several days I had this anomaly. It just doesn't make any sense.

@user_93d864 yes that is so strange how it appeared then disappeared, if you need to pick up a new box if this occurrence happens again, that would avoid any potential glitches in the system, but I'm glad everything is back up and running properly now.
