How do I order an XG1V4

My DVR was recently replaced with an XiOne wifi based box that does not have live rewind.  I would like to swap it for an XG1V4.  Can you please send me one.

XG1v4s are increasingly hard to get.  But, the Xi6 does live rewind, too, and they are much easier to get.

HDMI handshake errors and audio stutters?  While I use an XG1v4 in my 5.1.4 Atmos layout, I tested an Xi6 for several weeks and did not have those kinds of problems.

Is the XG1v4 not available? You said tht it is increasingly hard to get however, that sounds like they still may be available.  Is it possible to request an XG1v4?  My research has shown that the XG1v4 is superior due to

  • True Live Rewind: Because the XG1v4 is a physical DVR box, it constantly buffers the live channel you are watching. You can pause and rewind up to 60 minutes of live television seamlessly. The Xi6 does not have a local hard drive to cache live video stream data.
  • Standalone 4K Playback: The XG1v4 outputs native 4K video at 60Hz directly through an HDMI cable to your LG TV, making it ideal for 4K sports broadcast feeds and streaming apps.
  • Audio/Video Setup Compatibility: As a traditional cable box, the XG1v4 integrates much more reliably with standard HDMI ARC home theater routing if you are passing audio through an external receiver.

Can you please let me know if the XG1v4 is available? I would prefer that unit.  Thank you,

@user_a7ys35  I'm just a customer like you.  My comment about limited XG1v4 availability is only based on personal experience and posts from others who have struggled to get them.  I've been shipped the wrong box about as often as the right one when I've needed to swap one out.

Personally, i prefer the XG1V4, mostly because of an audio issue that only affects people with Atmos layouts like mine.   As for your research, the Xi6 does live rewind, too, altho only up to 25 minutes, not an hour.  It also does 4K 60 video and supports Dolby Vision while the XG1v4 is limited to HDR10.  And I have no idea about your comment saying the XG1v4 integrates more reliably with home theater receivers.  The X1 boxes don't use HDMI ARC at all.   That's a function for sending audio from a TV to a receiver.  I tested an Xi6 for several weeks and it did everything as well as my XG1v4 except for that sound issue unique to Atmos systems.

At any rate, it seems like you should be able to still get an XG1v4.  Just need to be patient.
