How Do I Fix "Something is not quite right with code XRE-00250"
Out of the blue, at 7:20PM this date, when switching from our Roku back to the Cable Box, we could not get a picture and then were presented with "Something is not quite right/error code XRE-00250". I tried several time to troubleshoot with the Xfinity bot, which always ended up with either a box or system refresh, which did nothing. Xfinity employees: why is this exact error message NOT among those the bot presents to you to choose from?
Can anyone at Xfinity explain technically what causes this error, why I must spend so much time trying to fix it, and how it can be fixed so it never occurs again? BTW, the affected box is two weeks old, and a tech visited three days ago to insure all systems were working (many, many problems had to be fixed after we just moved to this house one month ago).
