how can i tell if i have the latest cable box?

My cable box (model # AX014ANM) was acting up. It kept showing a blue screen on my 2 year old Sony. I called Comcast several times and they said "their software check" gave them a green light, meaning my box wasn't broken. After calling 3 days in a row to "reset the box" the rep said he would snail mail me a new box but could not guarantee it would be the latest box because the warehouse people just send whatever they find in the warehouse. I just received model # PX013ANM. It looks refurbished. I could not find a manufactured date sticker. The rep told me there should be a mark indicating how old this box is. I don't want to go through the hassle of hooking it up if there is a newer model. I was told I could drive to the store but there is no way to guarantee what models they stock. I had to do this last swap during the early days of Covid and it was really inconvenient to get to the closest Comcast store. Any tips or help would be much appreciated.
