user_x3eqlf Thank you for reaching out! If you go to the settings, choose help, tools, and system refresh. That should ensure your channel lineup is up to date. You can also use the Xfinity app. Just choose the Services section, TV & Streaming, Troubleshoot TV, choose something else, and then missing channels.

Thank you for replying.  I guess our boxes are older, and I can't find any of this.  I can't even find that on the Xfinity app either.  I did find that there's an MLB game on NBC on the app, but that's all.  It's not the Xfinity Home app, is it? I just have the Xfinity Stream app.

I downloaded the Xfinity Home app, but it just went back to Xfinity.  I did find Services, TV & Streaming, and Troubleshoot TV there, but that just sent me to AI assistant chat, not what you said.  I already tried chatting with a human, without any real help.

user_x3eqlf If you're trying to watch MLB programming for teams in your area, you would need a TV box upgrade to our X1 platform. It sounds like you may have our legacy TV boxes.

Also, you should be able to watch MLB programming in the Xfinity Stream app.

It shows it on our channel lineup at https://www.xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup?referrer=xa  Shouldn't we get all of those channels, regardless of what box we have?

user_x3eqlf Great question! Some of these channels are delivered only via Internet Protocol TV (IPTV), while others are also available through our traditional digital TV technology. Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) refers to television programming delivered over the internet rather than through traditional cable or satellite methods. It allows users to access channels and content via IP technology, which can be recorded in the cloud instead of on a physical DVR. IPTV is available to customers with Xfinity X1 service and compatible devices, providing a range of channels, some of which are exclusive to IP delivery. This technology aims to enhance the viewing experience by offering diverse and updated content options.
