Well that really sucks ... maybe they do a simple update so we can set 12 hours as an option too rather than limit it to 5 hours ... this makes no sense ... not fair to people with disabilities
user_d3sjpf That is correct, there is not currently an option to turn off the screen saver, this is an energy saver option to help conserve power when the box is not in use. I can understand how it can be inconvenient with a disability. If using a mobile device or computer is easier for you, we offer an adaptive web remote that can be used with accessibility tools. you can't. This has been brought up dozens of times over many many years.
I wish I could provide better news, but they will not give an option to disable this.
You can set the time out period for 5 hours though.
