Hisense Fire TV will not pair with XR15 remote

Is there a way to auto program an XR15 remote?  It doesn’t have a setup button to run the auto setup.   Our new Hisense Fire TV model 50QD6QF will not pair with the remote and we have tried over 60 codes found on the internet.

Thank you.  But I have tried these steps multiple times as well as each of the codes provided and still nothing.  Any updated codes would be appreciated.

user_xwtxe4 Shoot! Sorry to hear that's not working. If you press the blue microphone button and say "pair my remote" does that work? If that doesn't work, we may need to try to reset your remote. I've included the steps below for you if the voice option doesn't work. 
 
  1. Simultaneously press and hold the A button [triangle] and the D button [diamond] until the status light on the remote changes from red to green. This takes about 5 seconds.
  2. Press 9-8-1 on your remote to complete the factory reset. Once this is complete you can retry pairing your XR15 remote.

Issue resolved.  TV died after 5 days, returned it to Best Buy for an LG which is working fine.  Must have been the TV all along.

Thanks for the update. I had a similar issue with the Samsung TV that I bought,  fortunately for me it was under that one year warranty.

We have the exact same problem.  The Xfinity remote will change the channel but no joy with volume or on/off.  Please help.

@user_ont35s  Thanks for adding to the thread. Follow this guide https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/programming-your-xfinity-remote, and start on Step 2. That will pair the remote to your tv for full functionality.
