Hide Sports Scores Option?

As a sports fan, sometimes I just want to see what sports/games are currently on that I can watch. Unfortunately, any iteration of the word sports brings up the xfinity page which shows the live games along with their scores. I don’t want to know the scores of the games, I would rather turn the game on and see for myself.

The even bigger issue for this is often I am recording a certain game and am waiting for it to be further along before starting the recording. If in the meantime I want to see another sport or game I can’t use the sports app because it shows me my current game’s score every time.

I am exhausted going in circles trying to find an option to turn this off. Can’t Comcast be like most companies these days that at least give you the option to toggle on or off live scores? It really should not be this difficult. have the option to turn it off. I understand some people might just want to see scores, but many of us don’t.

Hello, @kelseyk21! Thank you for your feedback on how we can improve the Sports app on X1. I think this is a great idea! I will ensure that makes it over to the team in charge of the app so they can look further into making that an option.

On the X1 remote, if you press the Guide button twice, you can filter the guide by Sports. That does not bring up the Sports app or scores but does show the different games that are on and can be filtered by sport such as NHL or NBA.

@XfinityRay I wish pushing the guide button twice was the option but it definitely is not. As long as a game is live and on a major channel the score is there. I have tried this solution before and just tried it two more times on two different days after reading your suggestion. Scores are still there. Please do pass along the feedback for giving us a toggle switch to turn off scores. Thank you.
