Press the Xfinity button on the remote.
Go to Settings (gear icon).
Select Device Settings.
Choose Power Preferences or Daily Update Time (the wording can vary).
Select your preferred update time and save.
Make sure you're changing the setting from the primary X1 box if you have multiple TV boxes.
Check whether the box is currently downloading updates or processing recordings.
Restart the box using: Settings > Help > Restart, or Unplug the box for 30 seconds and reconnect it.
If you have multiple X1 boxes, verify whether the change is being attempted on a secondary box, as some settings are controlled from the primary device.
