HBO Max App
I’m signed in to HBO max app through xfinity, X1 box. Content appears to be all there. I select a video and it progresses to next screen, however the video never starts. The video title is in upper left corner and the progress bar is visible. But, progress bar is not responsive to any remote commands. Except for video title and progress bar, the screen is black. Peacock, prime, Netflix all work fine through the xfinity app function. Thoughts?

Hello Sligo111. I can assist with troubleshooting your HBO Max app on X1 issue. Have you yet tried to restart / reboot the cable box?

Is your equipment up-to-date? If so, try rebooting your cable modem in addition to the cable box. If this fails then there's a possibility of a server issue from HBO Max.

When I open hbo max the screen go black and won’t work!.. all I did is changed the password on my phone and now it won’t work on my x1 box
