Hard to change channels

The new 4K box is difficult to change channels, bring up the menu, etc. you have to be close to the box to get it to work. This is my second box, since I swapped the first out for this same issue, but the second box operates the same way. I did not have this issue with the previous HD boxes. Where is the IR receiver on the 4 K box?

If you have the XR11 or XR15 remotes, you should pair the remote. Then it uses RF and doesn't need to be aimed.

If you are using a 3rd party remote and IR, the sensor on the XG1v4 is near the lower right. It's a tiny clear piece of plastic in that slot that runs along the bottom.
