Glitchy sports

I continue to have glitchy image on channels with live sports like NBC Boston now. Very hard to watch my beloved Celtics! Other channels seem fine. What solutions are there?

Hello @user_8gau4a, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.

@XfinityChelseaB thx for reaching out. I tried getting help via direct messaging. Did all that was asked and is not fixed. Was told that I would receive a text but haven’t yet. The image for NBCSports and a few other live action sports channels are glitchy/pixelated. Other channels are fine.

I know how frustrating any picture issue can be, especially on a live sport like that @user_8gau4a . We can still look into that for you if you send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

I have the same issue.  I only have cable for sports and am not sure why I haven’t cut cable yet.

@user_cephjy We are happy to assist with your cable if your reception is not as it should be. We recommend you check to make sure your coaxial cables are secure and finger tight at the wall, behind the modem, behind the cable box, and at all connections in between. This could cause some reception issues if they are not secure. Also, if you have a splitter in the connections, you could also swap it out for a new one or remove it if it's not needed.
