getting a replacement XG1v4 4K/DVD box.
I have a failing XG1v$ box that flakes out every day or 2. All TV’s in the house have scrambled pictures and when I try to unplug the box to reset, it comes up into the welcome screen then shuts off for a few minutes then goes back to the welcome screen. Endless loop, waited 4 hours one time and same thing. My only resolution is to unplug for minimum 4 hours and then it may work. It will also give a message sometimes that it can’t connect to the internet and halts. My network analyzer says otherwise, but everything from the cable modem to the back of the box has been tested and swapped, still happens. Faulty NIC in box.
Have tried to have either have a store order or ordered by talking to online rep x3 and was assured everything is correct and I should receive the correct equipment. So far I have received 3 Xi6-T boxes and one trip to another store 40 Min’s away that I was told was holding a XG1v4 box for my pickup. They didn’t know anything about it and didn’t have any.
To say the least, this is terrible customer service. At this point, my only option is to keep having them order over and over the right box and getting the wrong box until the shipping costs force an issue? Could be a fun game?
Anyone want to take a stab at taming this monster?
