Garbled Sound Continues

Greetings. For over four years now we have had intermittent garbled sound while watching shows either live or on DVR. It will change the sound like the people are talking through a fan or under water. It lasts for a few minutes and then goes away. If we want to stop it, we can change channels or exit out if it's a recording and go back in. It's a pain to deal with. To try and fix it on our own, we've replaced the router twice, we've replaced HDMI cords, we've replaced our DVR box...and it still does it. It's not a flaw with the TV because this NEVER happens when we use our Fire Stick or Roku device. Please investigate. Thank you.

Hello.  We're still having the issue with the garbled sound.  We've been living with it for far too long now and I've seen other people who have brought up this issue but I don't see what has been done to correct it.  What are YOUR thoughts?
