Did I just see a commercial on MSNBC saying I can gamble through my voice remote?
A commercial that ran on Discovery Channel a few days ago for something called "PointsBet PowerHour" included the statement "Xfinity customers: say 'PointsBet' into your voice remote for an exclusive offer". They did not say what the offer was. Gambling houses have been pushing hard to line up customers over the last year or so, and you may have heard something like this.
In a PointsBet financial statement for the last half of 2020, a note stated: "Effectv [a Comcast division] has launched PointsBet 'Voice Plus' ads in November which leverages the capabilities of the Xfinity X1 voice remote. A text overlay during the ad tells users to 'Say PointsBet to get 2 risk-free bets up to $1,000', and when spoken triggers an SMS message direct to the customer with a unique signup code".
Axios says that "NBCUniversal [a Comcast division] and PointsBet are extending their five-year sports betting deal by two years", so you're likely to hear more of these "voice remote exclusive offers".

Free Games can be located by browsing the Gaming menu in On Demand or by saying “Free Games” into your Xfinity Voice Remote. Games will also appear on the apps menu. Some games are ad-supported, and advertisements will run at various times during your play session. For in-game controls, use the arrow keys, OK, Last and Exit buttons on your remote.
The list of titles available includes:
Crossy road Solitaire Classic Solitaire Towers Tomb Runner WPT Poker Please note that available games update regularly.
