formal complaint

I am outraged at the new sleep mode. I did not ask for it. I pay for 24 hour service and now you are limiting the time my tv shows are shown. I keep the tv on for a deterrence of robbers, My pets comfort and my child is autistic and needs the sound and visual to help with calming 24 hour a day. If you give the customer no choice in this you have to stop charging while the service is in sleep mode.

Second. for the entire time I have been a valued customer I am supposed to have Peacock without adds for free. I have called in over and over and get the same responses. such as > You shouldn't be upset other people are having the same issue, we will reinstall it and in 24 hours it will work, It never does. even saying you need to pay 6 dollars extra. Yes I want that refunded! Fix the problem or quit offering it.  I have had so many issues with xfinity you would think they would know what they are doing.

I understand the frustration when you do not want the TV to go into sleep mode as I like to leave the TV on for my dog too. She gets anxiety and then bark at any outside noise when the apartment is quiet. Xfinity X1 TV boxes have built-in screen savers that activate automatically after a set period of inactivity to help. Xfinity uses screensavers to prevent screen burn-in on OLED and plasma displays during periods of inactivity and to serve as an automated power-management feature when set-top boxes are left running. While you cannot completely disable the screen saver, you can adjust the idle time before it starts or preview it manually.

For Peacock Premium it is only free with ads. You would have to pay for the ad free tier. You can upgrade to Peacock Premium Plus through Xfinity by visiting your online account dashboard or using an eligible Xfinity TV box
