Fixed Boot reset problem

For the past month like many of you each morning the Xfinity box was stuck on Boot and the tv was on the welcome screen. Going to the remote settings/device settings/Power Preferences/ “Restart” also got stuck on Boot like in the morning. 

What fixed this was going to the iPhone app “Xfinity My Account” then selecting TV, Troubleshoot-Continue - “Restarting a Single TV box” did the trick. It sent a single to reset it. I then went back to the remote Settings/Device Settings/Power Preferences “Restart “ and it did restart the box without getting stuck on the boot and Welcome tv screens. Hopefully tomorrow morning it will not be stuck either. Try what I did.
