Feedback on X1 Power Saver Mode and Nap Mode

This is purely feedback, not a request for support.

I'm a recent X1 subscriber. I understand that after 4 hours of inactivity, the X1 box is designed to go into Power Saver Mode or Nap Mode, and that I can select whichever one of these settings I want. I'm aware that these settings exist to save money for the users (and presumably Comcast as well), and to prevent wear and tear on equipment and TV burn-in, and various other reasons. More than anything, I know that you've changed it so that pressing the power button on the remote no longer turns off the box directly, so it is necessary to automatically put the box to sleep for some people who otherwise would not ever realize they need to turn their box off. I know all of these things and I really don't need any of them explained to me, and I'd really appreciate being treated with the dignity of not being given a canned response informing me of any of them.

However, I have HDMI-CEC enabled on my box and TV. I have confirmed that it is functioning correctly. With this setting on, when I turn off my TV with the power button, the box instantly receives a signal over HDMI, and goes into standby as well. As such, I will never be in a situation where my TV is off and yet my box is needlessly operating for hours or days.

My feedback is that I feel there should be a setting for HDMI-CEC users that disables the automatic power off, or at least allows it to be extended to a more tolerable setting such as 12 (or 8) hours. The main television user in my household needs to have the television on for most of the day, and is 100% conscientious about turning the TV off when no longer watching or when going to bed, and the HDMI-CEC setting ensures that the box is turned off when the TV is, so the automatic power saving options are truly nothing more than a nuisance that severely degrades the TV-watching experience.

(Further, I believe that even users without HDMI-CEC should have the right to leave their TV playing 24/7 with nobody watching, on a service that they are paying hundreds a month for, if that's what they desire. But that is an entirely different conversation, and not the one I am trying to have.)

In summary, please give us the option to extend or disable the automatic Power Save Mode and Nap Mode if we have HDMI-CEC enabled.
