Fast forward, rewind and pause buttons not working

I received a new set top box yes. The fast forward, rewind and pause buttons do not work. I use that feature frequently

Hi @user_e05b03, it sounds like you are talking about the buttons on your remote and not some other place, is that correct?

Have you already paired (or re-paired) your remote? This link will walk you through how to do that, if not, and this link has some other instructions that may useful for programming the remote.

 

And so that you are not stuck without a working remote in the meantime, you can use our Xfinity TV Remote app

 

If you need to, you can also order a replacement through us, the Xfinity Assistant, or by going into a nearby service center. It also never hurts to try a fresh set of batteries first!
