Failed to download image

From what I gather there was an outage in my area concurrent with the TV box doing one of it's periodic updates. 

Message on screen:

Give us a call.

We've run into a problem here. Sorry about that. We'll take  care of this as quickly as possible.

Image Name: SX022AN_5.0p29s1_PROD_sey-signed.bin

IP Address: IPv6 address (unclear if it is mine, or the server the firmware code is being downloaded from)

P-DRI_SX022AN_V33.0.0           Primary-DRI             RDK-03012-2

Restart of TV  box from Xfinity web site. Same result.

Restart of TV box but dropping power for 10+ seconds. Same result.

Outage map says the outage is resolved.  No text message status update ever delivered.  It's been >12 hours since this started.

p.s.

There have been repeated attempts, presumably on your end ('cause I haven't touched anything in the last hour).  So far, same results. No joy.

If it makes any difference, the LED light on the TV box is blinking green.

I see you have tried the steps we would normally recommend for troubleshooting this specific error. (You can view more on errors received at Xfinity.com under Support > TV & Streaming

 

Please send us a direct message. 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

Ended up going to the store to get a replacement box. After that, scheduled a technician to replace the replacement box.  We're good no.
