Hello, thank you for taking the time to reach out on our Xfinity Forums. I am sorry to hear you are having some issues with your Flex box. What issues are you experiencing that would cause you to want to reset the box?
I need to clear and reset all logins and settings from my flex box.
I have the same question. Is there a reset button on the Flex streaming device that resets the device to factory settings as though it were brand new? Specifically, is there a way to erase the Wifi password before returning the Flex device to Xfinity? Thanks.
I'm wondering the same thing. I want to wipe WiFi passwords etc from the device before I return it. I asked a rep over chat and they were like, "It can't be done." I asked to speak with a manager, and they said, "Just drop it off at a store, it'll be fine." And I replied, "No, it won't be fine." And they basically gave up and gave me an 800 number to call. I am NOT returning this device til I figure out how this can be done.
How do I factory reset before returning my device?
