The installer connected up my XG1v4 to my wifi. Now that I have set up an ethernet connection how do I get the tv box to use that connection?

My ethernet switch lights show the tv has connected, but the cable box has not.

when you go into setting, device, it doesnt say "ethernet connection"?

have you power cycled your box with the ethernet connected and see if it connects that way?

Hello WD19, thanks so much for taking the time to reach out with these questions about connecting the XG1v4 via Ethernet! The box is designed to receives a cable signal from the cable connection and connect to the internet via Wi-Fi connection. While the ethernet port is present, it is not used.
