espn unlimited

I received an Xfinity email message informing me that ESPN Unlimited is now included in my plan, at no charge. Wonderful, however... I've been paying extra for a Sports Entertainment Package, which includes all the ESPN channels in the ESPN Unlimited package, plus NFL.com, Tennis Channel, and a few more.

  • If I opt-in for the free ESPN Unlimited package and discontinue my current for-pay sports package, I'll lose access to NFL.com, Tennis Channel, etc.
  • If I opt-out of my for-pay sports package, I'll be paying $9.95/month for two or three channels, with the rest duplicated by the free ESPN Unlimited plan.

The offer looks good... for other customers... but it doesn't make sense for me to opt-in for ESPN Unlimited. Thanks for nothing, Xfinity.

I forget a lot of things I want to remember, and remember a lot of things I want to forget.

The Xfinity agent just told me this was spam. They said the email address it was sent from doesn't exist.

This wasn't spam, I received it as a notification from the Xfinity app directly and was able to activate it

I knew it was too good to be true. I'm in the same boat as you. Don't want it messing up the rest of my services. Guess I'll have to live without it

the explanations don't make sense.  isn't it just a mobile app?  it's like getting peacock as part of your high speed internet.  much of the content isn't on tv, such as access to the nhl.  you stream that on the espn app, not on your xfinity cable (if you don't also subscribe to center ice).

I also received the same email 'ACTIVATE ESPN UNLIMITED — NOW INCLUDED WITH YOUR PLAN / More ESPN. On us.'

As an Xfinity member with ESPN in your channel lineup, we’re giving you access to ESPN Unlimited ($29.99/mo value) at no extra cost.
Activate now to stream exclusive live events with ESPN Unlimited in the ESPN app on your mobile device or X1 TV box.

Also, Xfinty's own website at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/espn-plus-on-x1-flex

That states: "Effective February 26, 2026, Xfinity subscribers to any TV tier that includes the ESPN channel will have access to ESPN Unlimited."

HOWEVER, the URL link does not take me to a webpage that shows ESPN Unlimited, only Netflix and AppleTV that have already been activated under StreamSaver and attempting to activate those results in an error, but that's not important, they already work.

After about 45 mins with chat support the guy said, he was in sales and didn't know what I was referring to wrt activation then another hour with phone support resulted in a rep that was new and had never heard of ESPN Unlimited and after being put on hold multiple times, and trying multiple ways to find ESPN Unlimited, was told I needed the Disney, Hulu bundle. I told her whomever told you that is giving you bad information and finally had to hang up, as nicely as I could.

I opened a ticket last Friday and had people calling me back for hours because I have no activate button. They said it was a known issue would be fixed in hours and they would call me then it was something with my account being older and they need to add a code? I pay for 3 ESPN channels. Nobody has followed up with me and the broken chat says I have no tickets open. It seems Xfinity strives to have the worst customer service possible.

It worked today....maybe it was overloaded yesterday. I could not activate it either.

what's weird for me is I never receive emails from xfinity regarding these types of things.  nothing regarding espn, Peacock, mlb extra innings, yet I have them all.  I have espn select through Disney, but my xfinity account shows I have espn unlimited.  my account was already linked to espn so maybe it just auto upgraded ( I did read on xfinity that if you had espn select through Disney, upgrading to unlimited would not cancel select and you'd have to separately do that through disney). not really sure was you get with unlimited vs select, but I've never had any problem accessing content.

i got the  e mail to activate the new espn unlimited for free not cost to  me (29.99 value) how long is it  free? is this  just a one month promotion?        2nd question. I go to activate and it states  I am leaving xfinity and will be singing up with  Disney + hulu + espn. I already have  Hulu. What is the real cost here?

The email worked fine for me. Clicked the link and it took me to Disney +, which once I logged in activated ESPN Unlimited. Not sure why I need it, but there is certainly some game will happen on it.

Hi there @user_tkt16a  Thank you so much for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum about activating your ESPN Unlimited.  We are happy to assist!  Please see below a few deets about our ESPN Unlimited service.

ESPN Unlimited: If you’re subscribed to an Xfinity TV tier that includes ESPN, in addition to the ESPN channels you can watch on X1 (which may include ESPN, ESPN News, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Deportes), you have access to ESPN Unlimited at no additional cost (activation required). The ESPN Unlimited plan includes access to all content available in the ESPN app.
Note: The ESPN Unlimited plan is not available to purchase separately through Xfinity at this time.

Please click this link for more info on how to activate! https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/espn-plus-on-x1-flex

What  is not made clear until is that this is a promotional offer and is free for  ONE MONTH! Then you are  signed up for  Hulu Disney+ and ESPN. The really shady part is once you  hit the activate button you lose espn  through Xfinity and there is no going back. shame on you

I was able to activate the espn unlimited and I saw a message that said Disney + and Hulu would unlock but each time I log into those two I’m asked to choose a subscription. I think there are still some glitches to work out. Peacock was the same for weeks.

that usually means you are leaving the xfinity app or web page to go to Disney to finish the activation process.  you're not losing espn on xfinity.

espn unlimited does not give you access to Disney plus or hulu content as those require a separate subscription.  however, you can access espn content within their apps.  e.g., you can access college basketball through the disney app, but you could not access star wars or marvel content without a separate subscription.
