espn unlimited
I received an Xfinity email message informing me that ESPN Unlimited is now included in my plan, at no charge. Wonderful, however... I've been paying extra for a Sports Entertainment Package, which includes all the ESPN channels in the ESPN Unlimited package, plus NFL.com, Tennis Channel, and a few more.
- If I opt-in for the free ESPN Unlimited package and discontinue my current for-pay sports package, I'll lose access to NFL.com, Tennis Channel, etc.
- If I opt-out of my for-pay sports package, I'll be paying $9.95/month for two or three channels, with the rest duplicated by the free ESPN Unlimited plan.
The offer looks good... for other customers... but it doesn't make sense for me to opt-in for ESPN Unlimited. Thanks for nothing, Xfinity.
I forget a lot of things I want to remember, and remember a lot of things I want to forget.

The Xfinity agent just told me this was spam. They said the email address it was sent from doesn't exist.

I knew it was too good to be true. I'm in the same boat as you. Don't want it messing up the rest of my services. Guess I'll have to live without it

the explanations don't make sense. isn't it just a mobile app? it's like getting peacock as part of your high speed internet. much of the content isn't on tv, such as access to the nhl. you stream that on the espn app, not on your xfinity cable (if you don't also subscribe to center ice).

I also received the same email 'ACTIVATE ESPN UNLIMITED — NOW INCLUDED WITH YOUR PLAN / More ESPN. On us.'
As an Xfinity member with ESPN in your channel lineup, we’re giving you access to ESPN Unlimited ($29.99/mo value) at no extra cost.
Activate now to stream exclusive live events with ESPN Unlimited in the ESPN app on your mobile device or X1 TV box.

Also, Xfinty's own website at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/espn-plus-on-x1-flex
That states: "Effective February 26, 2026, Xfinity subscribers to any TV tier that includes the ESPN channel will have access to ESPN Unlimited."
HOWEVER, the URL link does not take me to a webpage that shows ESPN Unlimited, only Netflix and AppleTV that have already been activated under StreamSaver and attempting to activate those results in an error, but that's not important, they already work.
After about 45 mins with chat support the guy said, he was in sales and didn't know what I was referring to wrt activation then another hour with phone support resulted in a rep that was new and had never heard of ESPN Unlimited and after being put on hold multiple times, and trying multiple ways to find ESPN Unlimited, was told I needed the Disney, Hulu bundle. I told her whomever told you that is giving you bad information and finally had to hang up, as nicely as I could.

what's weird for me is I never receive emails from xfinity regarding these types of things. nothing regarding espn, Peacock, mlb extra innings, yet I have them all. I have espn select through Disney, but my xfinity account shows I have espn unlimited. my account was already linked to espn so maybe it just auto upgraded ( I did read on xfinity that if you had espn select through Disney, upgrading to unlimited would not cancel select and you'd have to separately do that through disney). not really sure was you get with unlimited vs select, but I've never had any problem accessing content.
