ESPN+ not authenticating

I did the chat thing weeks ago regarding not being able to watch ESPN+ or SEC+ on the ESPN app even though I pay for ESPN+ and nothing was fixed and I never received the call from the tech team as promised.  When will this be fixed?! There are 100s of users on here with the same issue! I am logged in to both my Xfinity account and my ESPN+ account. I have done all the resets and reboots too so do not suggest that

Hello, @user_2624fc. Thanks for posting on our community forums for assistance with your ESPN App login. To confirm, you are selecting Xfinity as your provider when logging in through the app, correct? Have you also tried deleting the app and reinstalling it?

@XfinityDilary​ yes, did all that.  Like I said, I did the chat session a couple weeks ago and was on with them for almost 2 hours trying things and nothing.  I was told someone from tech support would call me and nobody did.   According to other posts, one says there is a patch or something coming but there is no timing on it.  Helpful as always.

i certainly understand the frustration with this and truly apologize for the inconvenience it has caused you. Just to check our known issues that our backend teams are working on, are you seeing an error code come up when trying to use the ESPN+ app?

@XfinityThomasD​ no, there is no error code.  Just unable to authenticate your account and similar messages like that.  And yes, I am signed into my xfinity account and my espn account.  But yet I can watch it on my phone just fine (so it isn't an espn issue) and i can log onto espn on my laptop, using my wifi, and signing into my xfinity account to use my wifi to watch it - and I can watch it there just fine.

We would like to look further into what happened with your ticket so we can further help, @user_2624fc. I would be frustrated if I couldn't watch my hockey games and want to get to the bottom of this. I can also look into any known issues that are being worked on as well.
