ESPN APP on HD Box (X1) is now useless

It's like this HD box doesn't have enough firepower to use this app. During commercial breaks 50% of the time the stream freezes when one ad stops and the other starts.

I also have Xi6 boxes that do not have this issue, and I may have to swap this HD box for the 4K box with more firepower. But in one of my setups, I need the analog audio outputs that none of the 4 K boxes have.

No need for the Xfinity folks here to ask me to DM you, I've seen online that others have this issue as well. You can ask me here, out in the open, anything you want. I'll happily reply so that others with the same issue can be helped as well.

westwayneguy88888 Thank you for stopping in for help with your ESPN app. If you're having issues with the app on one box, I would recommend troubleshooting that one device. I have the same issue with the Disney+ app from time to time on all of my boxes. The Xfinity app works great for any of the apps on the X1 platforms when you run into issues like this. You may want to reset your modem as a part of the process, but I have had great luck correcting these issues. Have you already checked out the Xfinity app troubleshooting for the box when you run into these issues?
