Error message XRE-03059 on multiple TV's - resetting box doesn't help

Starting about three hours ago, I am unable to get to any network channel by number. I get the XRE-03059 error. If I hit "try again" I can sometimes get to a different channel (it seems to switch between The Game Show Network, the Cooking Channel and Oxygen) but not to anything else. This is happening on multiple TVs and resetting the TV box hasn't helped. The xfinity assistant had nothing useful to offer. What else can I try?

The problem with getting all the channels is resolved - no action on my part.

I've had the error message on channels 202 through 229 for at least 5 years with no resolution after several technician visits, but the other day suddenly the channels were back, until yesterday and again today, but both times when I changed the size of the display (from normal to wide screen) the channels appeared again, so give that a try.
