error code XRE-03044

My X-1 main unit works, the satellite unit displays the guide and plays recorded shows, but will not display live tv.

After 4 conversations with Xfinity "advanced" tech support, each of whom apparently was unaware of the details of the previous tech, the satellite box was replaced. Problem solved. This solution should have been offered much earlier in the process.

But when the cost of tech support in India for 4+ hours is cheaper than the cost of the replacement unit, this is what you get.
