DVR starts recordings a minute early

X1 DVR schedules everything to start recording a minute before the programs actually start. Ending times are ok. It runs into recording conflicts all the time. When we have a program that is on 3PM to 4PM, it always schedules the recording to start at 2:59PM. Then we’ll have a program that is on 4PM to 5PM and it schedules the recording to start at 3:59PM. The scheduled end of programs seem to be on time. So the scheduled end of program one overlaps the scheduled start of program two by a minute. There is the recording conflict. So we can’t record both programs. This has been going on for several months for us. From what I have read, it has been going on for a couple of years for other people. Clearly Comcast knows about it. All of their responses say they are working on a solution. Hard to believe Comcast hasn’t fixed this after a couple of years of knowing about it. Maybe they’ll fix it after all of us ditch cable.
