DVR recording skipping

It seems like a lot of people are having some issues with their DVR recordings. When is xfinity going to fix this [Edited: "Language"]? Last night my dvr stopped recording. And tonight it records but during the recording glitches and jumps forward 20 minutes into the program. What the [Edited: "Language"]?!

DVR has been a problem for a while. It does not finish recording or playback starts and jumps to the end. There are several spots of pixelation on some recordings. This has been going on for a while and calling customer service has been a huge waste of time. We do all of the troubleshooting and the only fix seems to be reset which causes the recordings to stop and the existing recordings to empty. We pay far too much each month for this service to have it work so poorly. Xfinity is the same old Comcast with a new name. Poor service, support, and high rates.

Greetings, @here-we-goagain! Thanks for reaching out to us on the Forums! I hope you are having an amazing day! I apologize to hear of the issues you continue to have with your DVR. That's certainly frustrating especially if you're just trying to catch up on your favorite show! When you had called in did any of the reps happen to look into your signals to see if anything was out of specification? Have you had a tech come out and see if there was any line noise or interferance?
