DVR recording pause

My DVR recording comes off pause in 10 minutes which is ridiculous. How can I fix this? It plays the screensaver on the screen but the sound returns to a channel and is annoying as heck because I might be on the phone or in the other room. This is a ridiculous feature.

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_jv2hci! The 10 minutes is the current interval set for when a DVR on a paused recording goes back to live TV. This feature can help prevent screen burn. At this time, there is not a way to adjust the time.

Why not just have the screensaver come on without unpausing the show? And 10 minutes is gonna cause screen burn? Maybe on an old plasma TV but let the owner worry about their own TV. Please tell me there are plans to fix this feature!!!

The feature is currently working as intended, there are not any plans to make any adjustments. Although, I can understand how having the TV randomly goes off during the middle of a call can be distracting. At this time, it is recommended to pause the program and mute the TV @user_jv2hci.
